KUCHING: Datuk Peter Minos has claimed that voters in the Mas Gading parliamentary constituency have expressed their regrets for supporting Democratic Action Party (DAP) during the 14th general election (GE14).

The political observer said DAP did absolutely nothing in four years, including the 22 months they were in power as part of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government.

“The usual DAP excuses such as no money, not their duty outside government and ‘ask them to do it’. Doing nothing and making excuses. That was all.”

He added that most voters in Mas Gading are struggling rural villagers and they genuinely need their representative to do something concrete for them.

“DAP made big promises in 2018 but once voted into power, promises were not kept and deliberately broken.

“They played coy. Mas Gading people feel really cheated,” he said in a statement.

He predicted that Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) Mas Gading candidate Lidang Disen would win big in the constituency.
