MCC receives prestigious Prime Gold Award

MIRI: Three Innovative and Creative Convention Group (ICC) teams from the Sarawak Civil Service (SCS) continued the state’s excellent performance at the International level during the 47th International Convention on Quality Control Circle (ICQCC) 2022 held at Jakarta from November 15 to 18.

Miri City Council’s Kumpulan Inovatif Dan Kreatif (KIK Team), Sirius Prime has achieved in receiving the prestigious award namely The Prime Gold Award (International Sudomo Quality Medal) which is awarded to QCC-Team with the top 10 highest score during the convention.

The team presented their innovation project titled ‘Difficulties in Collecting Arrears of Assessment Rates’ and was presented by Ir Idaris D Simorangkir, MT., CMQ/OE from the Indonesian Quality Management Association (IQMA).

Miri City Mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang, received the Award from Sheldon Edgar Hilary Tawan, the team leader of Council’s KIK Team in a ceremony being witnessed by all who were present during the Full Council Meeting on Tuesday.
