MIRI: A man faced anxious moments when the Mercedes Benz he was driving suddenly caught fire at Jalan Airport here, Thursday.
In the 6.00pm incident, the man was on his way from the Taman Delight to Jalan Miri-Bypass when the car engine caught fire.
He quickly stopped the car by the roadside and got out to safety.
Meanwhile, Lopeng firemen rushed to the scene after receiving a call on the incident.
The firemen took about 10 minutes to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
