PUTRAJAYA: Deputy Home Minister Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman was conferred the honorary doctorate in leadership during the Limkokwing University Of Creative Technology convocation ceremony held at Putrajaya International Convention Centre here yesterday.

The university in its statement said the doctorate was in recognition of Mohd Azis’s distinctive capability in people management and his skills in media technology to engage with people in finding solutions to social issues.

Mohd Azis however did not attend the ceremony as he had work commitment and the honorary doctorate was conferred to him by the university’s senior vice president (industry empowerment) Datuk Raja Aznil Raja Hisham during an event held at the university in Cyberjaya on Friday.

Mohd Azis in his recorded acceptance speech which was played during the ceremony yesterday said he was honoured to receive a doctorate from such an esteemed university which was headed by such a dynamic personality as Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing who is also the university’s founder and president.
