KUCHING: The Darul Hana Mosque Management Committee is always open to the idea of organising events in an effort to develop the Muslim community in Sarawak.

Rural Electricity Assistant Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi said that any proposal to conduct a seminar at Darul Hana Mosque should be submitted to the management committee.

Dr Abdul Rahman said the committee is open to any event as long as it meets the specific requirements.

“The mosque management committee is open to any event as long as it meets the specific requirements.

“This initiative would lead to a successful event to be organised here,” he said during the “Majlis Penangguhan Kursus Kesempurnaan Solat Perdana” (MPKSP) at the Darul Hana Mosque here, today.

Abdul Rahman also stated that it’s been three years since the opening of the Darul Hana Mosque and various seminars had been conducted by the mosque management committee, government agencies, NGOs and the public.

The Pantai Damai assemblyman said, “According to feedbacks from the participants, seminar and talk on perfection in a Muslim prayer is among the most popular conducted here. There are also other seminars conducted here but talks discussing the spiritual faith in Islam are the most popular as they can move the local Muslim community as one.”
