KUCHING: A motorcyclist suffered serious leg injuries after he collided into a car at the junction of Kampung Bawang, Jalan Puncak Borneo Sunday night.
The 54-year-old car driver from Kampung Bawang who was ferrying four passengers was heading towards Puncak Borneo.
The driver was entering a lane when he collided with the 20-year-old motorcyclist riding along a straight path from Puncak Borneo at 10.15pm.
Due to the impact of collision, both vehicles were badly damaged. The motorcyclist from Kampung Grait, Mile 16, Puncak Borneo was flung into a nearby bush.
Passers-by called the police and an ambulance. The victim was sent to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH), while the car driver and his passengers sustained minor injuries.
Police are investigating the case.
