SERIAN: Serian MP Datuk Seri Richard Riot Jaem is proud and happy that the people of Serian have complied with the government’s directive to receive the Covid-19 vaccine and booster in order to achieve herd immunity and curb the spread of the virus.

“This morning, while I was having breakfast at a coffee shop at the Serian market, I met an elderly couple I have known for over 20 years.

“I was informed that they had both just finished getting their Covid-19 booster dose at the Serian vaccination centre,” he said in a Facebook post yesterday.

He shared that the couple was from Kampung Sg Aping, a remote village in Serian.

“Congratulations and thank you to the Serian Disaster Management Committee and especially Serian Health (MoH) authorities for succeeding and being committed through their programme to provide awareness on the importance of achieving complete Covid-19 vaccination to the community in Serian area,” commended Riot.
