Dr Yii hands over the financial assistance to the Kuching Table Tennis Association.

KUCHING: The Kuching Table Tennis Association received allocations for its activities and training programmes, especially for the young children.

The allocations were handed over by Bandar Kuching Member of Parliament Dr Kelvin Yii who dropped by the association and observed the training session yesterday (May 12).

“It is good to see the young children coming back and training again after the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to see more young players representing Sarawak and even Malaysia in this sport.

“During the COVID-19 pandemic for over two years, associations like this could not organise events to raise funds.

“Rest assured, I will continue to assist and give support,” he said.

The association thanked Dr Yii for his financial assistance.
