KUCHING: Two dialogue sessions have been held with residents of Kampung Baru Cina and Kampung Medong Hilir in Dalat by Dalat assemblywomen, Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah yesterday.
The sessions were held to discuss the new application for development for Dalat constituency as well as listen to problems and complaints from the grassroots.
Various aids from the state government through the Ministry of Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development were also brought to light for the residents.
Fatimah, who is also the Minister of Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development, also presented a grant cheque for Dalat minor rural projects as follows:
• A new bridge road construction project at Kampung Baru Cina of 240 ft;
• Another new road construction project for the base of Kampung Medong Seberang, Dalat;
• For the purchase of tent/canopy, plastic chairs and tables for the Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK) Kampung Medong Hilir Pembelian Khemah/Kanopi, Kerusi Plastik & Meja JKKK Kpg Medong Hilir;
• Replacement project for carpets of Masjid Al-Hidayah in Kampun Medong Hilir; and
• Purchase of Women’s Hardware of Kamping Medong Hilir.
