New office bearers out to help school attain greater heights

SIBU: The newly elected president of St. Elizabeth’s Old Students’ Association (SEOSA), Eta Ting Ming Na, is committed to helping the school achieve greater heights with her committee.

Ting said they would do whatever they could to help the students in their education.

“SMK St. Elizabeth is the only girls’ school and also a missionary school in Sibu. We pray that our school’s good name will be upheld and continue to strive for greater heights.

“We hope that we can work together to move forward for the betterment of society,” she said in a press statement yesterday (Apr 4).

Ting also thanked the previous SEOSA committee members for their hard work, and she hoped the present office bearers  will move forward, uphold the school’s good name, and help those in need.

During the recent SEOSA 32nd annual general meeting, Ting, who is a lecturer at a private college, was elected as the new president for the 2024-2026 term.

She will be assisted by Ting Leng Ping (vice president).

Others on the committee are: secretary – Teng Min Min, assistant secretary – Ching Jun Sieng, treasurer – Ngu Kiong Siew, assistant treasurer – Grace Chee; committee members – Josephine Wong Hie Hie, Angelyn Uchi Maseng, Susie Teh Guak Kim, Lau Hieng Poh, and Sharifah Maziah Wan Hamid.
