KUCHING: A man believed to be 34-year-old Indonesian citizen was found dead hanging in his rental room near Satok Flyover here on Sunday.
State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Assistant Operations Director Tiong Ling Hii when contacted informed that they received an emergency call at around 11.31pm on Sunday.
“A machine, an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) ambulance and 10 Batu Lintang Bomba personnel were rushed to the site.
“The man who lives on the third floor of one of the shop buildings in Satok was confirmed dead by the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) paramedics who were also in the premises before being handed over to the police for further action.
Kuching District Police chief ACP Ng Ah Lek then confirmed that the body had decayed. “For now, this case is classified as a sudden death. The victim has rented the room for the past six months, and we have not received any information about the victim’s occupation,” he added.
