KUCHING: GIATMARA will expand their Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) to the public housing community after the successful implementation on Tahfiz schools.

According to GIATMARA deputy executive officer, Ahmad Hamdi Ibrahim, the government aims to empower and provide the necessary skills to the people through TVET as the mainstream for the country’s development.

“The government also has allowed GIATMARA to expand its TVET training to the public housing communities throughout the country in order to equip the people with the necessary skills.

“This shows that the skills field or TVET is one of the fields that we have to master and empower,” said Ahmad Hamdi during the GIATMARA 2018 Graduation Ceremony at the old State Legislative Assembly Building (Old DUN) in Petra Jaya here yesterday.

He also urged GIATMARA graduates to continue looking for knowledge to better themselves for future challenges.

“To all GIATMARA graduates, continue on to empower yourself, do not stop,” he said.
