KUCHING: More than 100 police personnel pay their last respect to the late ASP Chen Chin Wah during the funeral at his house at Jalan Ketek, Hakka Avenue, here yesterday.
The former Commercial Crime Senior Investigation Officer attached to Miri District Police Headquarters, passed away at a private hospital in Kuching at around 11.15am last Monday after suffering from lungs and heart complications.
Chen, 56, who served with the police force for 37 years, is survived by his wife and four children.
State Deputy Police Commissioner, Dato’ Abdul Aziz Yusof said the late Chen was dedicated and passionate about his work.
Also present to pay his last respect to the late Chen was State Police Management Department Head, SAC Zamani Hamdan Sirat.
