GEORGE TOWN: Penang FC coach Manzoor Azwira was not too happy that his team let in three goals in their 4-3 win against Kelantan FC in their Super League match at their home turf the City Stadium here last night.

However, he said rain for 90 minutes of the game impacted the team’s rhythm.

“I’m grateful (for the victory) …. although there are things that need to be improved. This game was not something beautiful because of the pitch situation, but it’s a bit disappointing because the goals we let in shouldn’t have happened,” he told reporters after the match.

He added that the Panthers will also try to give their best in the upcoming matches.

Meanwhile, Kelantan FC Head Coach, Angel Alfredo Vera said that the heavy rain situation had also interfered with his men’s play in gaining points against the Panthers.

“We managed to score three goals but the heavy rain affected the game. We will try to improve on our shortcomings in the next match…we will give motivation to the players,” he said.
