KUCHING: A car passenger died on the spot after the car he was travelling in collided with a 4WD vehicle at about 1.10pm at Jalan Stakan near Kota Sentosa, yesterday.
The accident happened when the driver of the 4WD vehicle lost control of the vehicle and collided with the car.
The driver of both vehicles sustained only minor injuries. Paramedics in an ambulance rushed to the scene and tried to revive the victim, Mohd Razmi Fardhuqa bin Menten aged 18 from Simunjan, but failed.
His remains were later taken to the mortuary of the Sarawak General Hospital for a post mortem. Sarawak Head of Police Investigation and Traffic Department, Supt Alexson Naga Chabu confirmed the case.
