KUCHING: Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) is fielding Kenneth Adan Silek as its potential candidate for Murum state constituency.
According to PBK president Datuk Voon Lee Shan, Kenneth — a Kayan native of Sg Asap — holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Brighton University, England and Master of Science degree from University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
He is an electrical engineer by profession and is also a member of IEEE Charted Engineer.
Prior entering into politics, Kenneth has vast working experiences in both industrial and academic fields, which includes 15 years with Sarawak Shell Berhad and 13 years as a lecturer at Curtin University, Sarawak Campus.
He is also active in church leadership and also social works and has entered into politics to speak for the voiceless, the marginalised and to fight for justice, fairness and accountability.
