SIBU: The Muslim Welfare Organisation Malaysia (Perkim) Sibu branch has elected its new committee members for the 2019-2021 term during its recent 27th annual general meeting (AGM).
Datin Sharifah Zaidah Syed Abdul Aziz was elected as chairperson of Perkim Sibu branch uncontested, with Jamelah Imit elected as the deputy chairperson.
Also on the committee are honorary secretary Siti Aminah Chek and treasurer Fatimah Narawi.
Other committee members elected are Sh Ainnie Syed Alwie, Hajijah Bohari, Sh Fatimah Wan Hamid, Wylia Awi, Aminah Amat, Junaidah Saili, Halimah Udin, Rabiah Bohari and Aishah Awang Jemain.
Perkim Sibu branch’s AGM was officiated by Education and Technological Research Assistant Minister Dr Annuar Rapaee.
