KUCHING: Petros Sarawak Bhd (Petros) took a significant step in fostering closer relationships with various local media agencies by hosting its inaugural media night here on Tuesday (March 5).

Ismail Said, Petros vice-president for Human Capital and Relations, pointed out the importance of media feedback in enhancing the company’s services.

He expressed Petros’ purpose to leverage resources for the sustainable progress of Sarawak and its people, acknowledging the crucial role played by the media in conveying information and bringing joy to the people of Sarawak.

“Petros has a purpose to harness our resources for the sustainable progress of Sarawak, Sarawakians, and beyond, so help us because we cannot do this alone.”

He conveyed his sincere desire for the media to cover more development stories in Sarawak, aiming to engage the public and keep them informed about changes and advancements.

Ismail highlighted the potential of using data made public by the media to monitor matters close to the public’s heart, aiding Petros in future developments.
