KUCHING: Police are looking for two local men to facilitate investigations into a recent gang robbery in the district.
Kuching police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah said both men were needed to assist in investigations under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code.
The section provides for a jail term of up to 20 years and whipping, upon conviction.
The suspects are Hamdzah Mohammad @ Hamzah Cina, 46, whose last address was at Lorong 7A, No 250, Taman Malihah, Jalan Matang; and Muhammad Rafizie Saharie @ Rafizi, 39, whose last address was at No 271-A, Kampung Tabuan Hilir.
“Members of the public who have any information on the two men should come forward and cooperate with the police.
“They can channel information to investigating officer Insp Mohammad Zairi Jamaludin at 012-5210064 or contact any of the nearest police stations,” he said.
