PPTD holds bubur lambuk programme

KOTA SAMARAHAN: A total of 500 bubur lambuk packets were distributed during a programme organised by the Sarawak Administrative and Diplomatic Service Association (PPTD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) Sarawak office here Tuesday.

PPTD Sarawak chairman Ahmad Nadzri Mohd said the annual programme aims to strengthen the relationship between its members and various state and federal government agencies as well as the locals.

“This programme also commemorates the spirit of doing good deeds and charity in the holy month of Ramadan,” he said when officiating at the bubur lambuk distribution programme.

On a related note, he said more than 130 members of Sarawak PPTD are made up of officers from the Administrative and Diplomatic Service Scheme and currently serving in federal departments statewide.

“We will also carry out a number of recreational and welfare activities this year to encourage the involvement of state civil servants,” he said. Also present were KKDW Sarawak office director Mohd Syafiq Anas Abdullah and staff of the KKDW Sarawak.
