Premier leads open house visit

KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg led the big number of visitors to the Hari Raya Open House organised by Pantai Damai assemblyman Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.

Abang Johari’s wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang was also present at the open house which was held at Waterfront Hotel here yesterday (May 6).

The event, which commenced at 2pm, also saw the presence of two deputy premiers namely Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian, other dignitaries and members of the public.

Guests were also entertained by music performances while an array of dishes was served during the event.

The ceremony which lasted until 5pm was also held in compliance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Also present was Abdul Rahman wife’s Datin Siti Syorgaya Mohd Zaidin.
