KUALA LUMPUR: The functions of the Performers’ Rights and Interest Society of Malaysia (PRISM) Berhad in representing singers and musicians for the collection and distribution of music royalties have been terminated effective April 3 this year.
The Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO), in a statement here today, announced that in view of this development, all affairs involving PRISM must now on be referred to the Insolvency Department. – Bernama
