KUCHING: The Free Prosthetic Implant Charity Programme, organised by the Che Hui Khor Moral Uplifting Society of Kuching & Samarahan Division Sarawak (Che Hui Khor), has been rescheduled from July 15 and 16 to July 22 and 23 due to venue limitations.

According to the press statements, the organizers are urging all successful applicants and beneficiaries who had their limbs measured to take note of the date changes to avoid any disappointment. They sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling of the prostheses handover.

Last month, over 49 individuals with disabilities completed the measurement for hand and foot molds. Next Saturday, starting at 8:30 am., a medical team from Indonesia will install the prosthetic limbs for them, and the recipients will commence their walking practice. The handover ceremony will take place at 9:00 am. on the following day (Sunday).

Furthermore, the measurement of hand and foot molds for the second batch of applicants will begin next Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Therefore, individuals who are looking to register or have recently been informed about this event are welcome to apply and have their limbs measured on-site.
