KUCHING  : Wife of the Head of State, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Ragad Kurdi Taib yesterday received a courtesy call from the international jury of the  World Craft Council  (WCC) led  by its president, Dr. Ghada Hijjawi Quddumi at Demak Jaya Kuching. Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports, Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, who accompanied the delegation, explained that  the jury was here to assess Kuching City as a “World Craft City”.

Members of the jury, who come from Kuwait, India, Thailand and Malaysia, arrived in the city after a similar trip to Indonesia.

They will leave for China today  for a similar trip.
