Raghad casts her vote in the ballot box at SMK Tun Abang Haji Openg voting centre.

KUCHING: Head of State’s wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib has cast her vote at the SMK Tun Abang Haji Openg voting centre here today.

According to a statement from Sarawak Information Department (JAPEN), Raghad arrived at 1.26pm together with Astana officials and left at 1.30pm after completing the voting process.

The SMK Tun Abang Haji Openg voting centre is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm to enable the public to fulfill their responsibilities as voters.

There are 79,540 registered voters in the Santubong parliamentary seat, which has 50 voting centres, including for SMK Tun Abang Haji Openg voting centre with three channels that are open for 1,454 voters.

The Santubong seat saw a three-cornered fight between Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) candidate Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, Pakatan Harapan (PH) Mohamad Zen Peli and Independent candidate Affendi Jeman in the 15th general election (GE15).
