Register businesses to get govt assistance

MERADONG: Small and medium entrepreneurs here have been urged to register their businesses to enjoy assistance provided by the Sarawak government such as the Special Relief Fund (SRF).

Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information and UKAS) Datuk Abdullah Saidol also advised these entrepreneurs to contact the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) to obtain various assistance to advance their business.

He said this after officiating at the 2022 Meradong District Youth Independence Day celebration and the handing over of Semop assemblyman Minor Rural Project (MRP) allocations at the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) branch office, recently.

Abdullah who is Semop assemblyman announced MRP allocations amounting to a total of RM14,000 to four organisations.

They are Bintangor Malay Community KMKK (RM5,000), Meradong District Education Office (RM3,000), SK Selidap PIBG (RM3,000) and Bandar Bintangor SMK PIBG (RM3,000).
