KUCHING: With Chinese New Year (CNY) just around the corner, Aqua-Tech Engineering and Marketing Co. decided to bless five needy Chinese families under Hope Place Care.
Aqua-Tech Engineering and Marketing Co. Manager, Jong Bui Kiong handed over RM3,000 worth of CNY goodies to Hope Place Founder, Kelvin Wan, including cookies, soft drink, canned food, CNY oranges, cooking oil, cakes, noodles and oats.
Jong and his staff also accompanied Hope Place in delivering CNY goodies to these needy families. Beside that Jong also presented Ang-Pow (red envelopes filled with money) to all five families.
Most of the houses weren’t accessible by roads so all personnel needed to walk quite a distance to ensure that these families receive the goodies.
14 volunteers participated in the outreach programme which started at 8.30am and ended at 5pm.
