Road projects completed ahead of schedule

MUKAH: All three road projects under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) in two villages in the Tellian constituency have been completed ahead of schedule.

They are Kampung Tellian Tengah (Aug 12-Dec 11), Sungai Misan, Tellian (July 21-Nov 20) and Kampung Tellian Ulu (July 2-Nov 19).

Local contractors Alabare Enterprise, Moza Larik Enterprise and Batu Pahat Enterprise handed over the completed projects to representatives of the two villages yesterday.

Tellian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo said the Kampung Tellian Tengah and Sungai Misan, Tellian access roads were concrete and cost RM80,000 and RM180,000 respectively.

“For the Tellian Ulu, it is a gravel road and the cost is RM120,000,” he said at the simple handover ceremony.

Mukah Division Public Works Department (JKR) project officer cum civil engineer Nurul Lisa Raduan, assistant engineer Shamsul Huzaini and Mukah District Office administrative officer Peleadzman Ahip also attended the ceremony.
