RTM set up bubur lambuk drive-thru

KUCHING: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan participated in Radio Television Malaysia’s (RTM) Drive-Thru Ramadan today (May 5).

A total of 4,000 packs of food including bubur lambuk, bubur pedas and others were distributed to members of the public.

In a statement today (May 5), Awang Tengah praised RTM’s initiative in organising the programme.

“This programme is appropriate with the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan. It can foster good relationship between RTM and its audience,” he said.

He also urged RTM to continue to be innovative and remain relevant as well as to ensure the dissemination of factual and current information to its audience.

At the same time, Awang Tengah announced the allocation of RM10,000 to RTM’s recreation club for its yearly programme.

Also present during the event were Entrepreneur and SME Development Assistant Minister Datuk Naroden Majais and Sarawak Broadcasting Department director Abdul Hadi Mohd Yusoff.
