Sarawak Metro and SEDC Energy team up to distribute bubur lambuk at the Petros Multifuel Refuelling Station, spreading the joy of Ramadan to visitors

KUCHING: Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro) teamed up with Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) Energy to bring festive cheer to patrons at the Petroleum Sarawak (Petros) Multifuel Refuelling Station.

The two organisations distributed bubur lambuk, a porridge dish that is commonly shared during the fasting month, as a gesture of goodwill and community spirit at the station Monday (Apr 17).

Sarawak Metro Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mazli Mustaffa, said the programme was aimed at promoting both organisations while also sharing their CSR values with the public.

“Last week, Sarawak Metro held a similar event to promote our organisation. This time, we worked together with SEDC Energy to provide bubur lambuk to the public as a charitable donation,” he told reporters when met during the event today (Apr 17).

SEDC Energy’s Denil Ngumbang added that the event provided an excellent opportunity to distribute not only the bubur lambuk but also introduce the various local products available at Petros petrol stations.

“This programme is a great platform for us to introduce the range of products available at our Sarawak-owned petrol stations.

“Our petrol stations offer much more than just fuel, when you step inside, you will find a wide range of local products.

“It’s important to create awareness that our stations offer more than just fuel, including fast charging and hydrogen services,” he said.
