Sarawakian Nur Qamarina Syafira was crowned the overall winner of the I Am Model Search International 2024 competition held in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday evening (January 14).
TVS reported that the 14-year-old girl shared the spotlight with two other main winners, Yeerul Tbileg Engkhbayar from Mongolia and Russel Jan Comia from the Phillipines.
Previously, Nur Qamarina clinched the title of I Am Model Search Malaysia 2023, earning her the opportunity to represent Malaysia in the international competition.
She has achieved recognition in several pageant competitions, including being crowned Miss Little Icon Sarawak, winning Kids Model Sarawak and securing the title of Miss Plaza Merdeka, among other accolades.
The competition, which attracted 68 participants from 17 countries, aimed to discover fresh talents in the fashion industry, both domestically and internationally.
Among the countries participating in the second edition of the competition were Australia, the United States, Botswana, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Japan, Cambodia, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
