KUCHING: More financial assistance needs to be allocated in the Federal Budget 2023 as sectors of the economy continue to open.

With the hike in the prices of goods and services, the hopes of Sarawakians are that further financial initiatives be provided by the federal government to help support the local communities.

There have been calls by the locals to the government to increase government funding which could benefit the local community

New Sarawak Tribune polled members of the public to obtain their responses and views on the Federal Budget 2023 to be presented on Oct 7.

My hopes for the Federal Budget 2023 are that there would be more assistance for the rural communities. I also hope that the prices of goods are not too high next year.
