KUCHING: Residents of Stampin Resettlement Scheme want their main road to be widened and the earth drains there to be upgraded into concrete drains.
They conveyed their wishes to Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) public complaints bureau chief Wilfred Yap recently when he visited the scheme with SUPP Stampin Sub Branch members.
As a result, Yap, who is also SUPP Kota Sentosa Branch chairman, is appealing to Stampin MP and Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Deputy Minister Chong Chieng Jen to assist the residents of the scheme by bringing their long outstanding problem to the relevant federal ministry or departments and to apply and secure development funds from the federal government.
