KUCHING: Activities held during a programme to coincide with the first term school holiday held by the Sarawak State Library at the Children Infotech Room from June 4 until June 12 were successfully concluded.

This was a full physical participation by children after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The programme attracted over 200 children for free and the activities that were held included Flower Port Craft and Planting, Make Your Own Toys, Fun With Clay  Art, Design Your Tote Bag, Personal Money Box, Create with 3D Pen, Beary Easy Marshmallow and Beary Cookies Pops.

The objective of this programme was to showcase the children’s inner talent, empowering their creative thinking, exploring their cooking talent, training their social skills such as communication skills and increasing their own confidence.

That being said, Sarawak State Library has planned tons of contents of School Holiday Activity that will be more interesting during the upcoming school holidays.
