MIRI:  Sibuti Member of Parliament (MP) Lukanisman Awang Sauni, has vowed to make his constituency a safer place for teenagers in the wake of growing concerns over drug abuse and illegal online gambling activities.

“We all share the responsibility… the government alone… families alone cannot do it, we all need to work together in order to curb the menacing activities,” Lukanisman opined.

Addressing this during the Miri-level Teachers Day celebration on Wednesday night at a leading hotel, he added that both parents and teachers, including the community, play a crucial role in preventing teenagers from getting involved in unproductive activities.
