SMK Sacred Heart Sibu third in 2018 SPM

SIBU: SMK Sacred Heart here once again achieved excellent results in the 2018 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination which were announced today.

The school principal David Teo said, “This is a very proud moment and another outstanding achievement for another year for the school.

“This year, the school recorded an average school grade of 2.65 and has snagged third place in Sarawak among other schools.”

He added that the teachers, parents and students have worked hard throughout the teaching and learning process at the school.

“Hopefully what the students learn will bring benefit when they continue their studies at higher learning institutions and also at their workplace in the future,” said Teo.

His text of speech was read by the school’s deputy principal Ling Ngie Ming.

According to Ling, 12 students obtained 11As, 13 with 10As and seven got 9As.

Dennis Wong Zhuang Hao obtained the most A+ with 9 and 2As in SPM 2018. – Sarawak Voice
