SPAOH: A 15-foot-long reticulated python, which had been stalking cats behind a house near Kampung Tengah Spaoh, was finally captured before it could begin its hunt.
The glimpse of a python was realised when a resident was about to feed his kitten around 8.20pm on yesterday (Nov 8).
Fearing for the safety of the residents and the kitten, APM Spaoh were alerted of the reptile and a four-member team was deployed to the scene.
On arrival, the complainant reported that the reptile was attempting to avoid detection.
Nonetheless, the team swiftly located and captured the python within five minutes.
Following the capture, the team concluded the operation at 8.50pm.
