KUCHING: There were 12 Covid-19 related deaths recorded in the state between Oct 5 and Oct 13.
Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said the deaths involved seven females and five male patients including four brought-in-dead (BID) cases.
The eldest case was a 94 year old woman who was brought in dead to Sarikei hospital on Sept 30. She had a history of high blood pressure.
The youngest fatality was a 32 year old man who died on Oct 11 at Sibu Hospital.
Most of the other fatalities were elderly people with history of comorbidities.
