MIRI: A powerful thunderstorm on Monday night caused a large tree to fall in Kampung Luak here.
The fallen tree disrupted traffic in the area.
The Miri Civil Defence Force reported that they sent five members to the location after getting an emergency call about the incident at 7.36 am today (Sept 12).
They used two chainsaws and cleared the tree in about an hour.
Thankfully, no one was hurt and no vehicles were damaged in the incident.
