Talib receives courtesy call

KUCHING: Minister in Chief Minister’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Talib Zulpilip received a courtesy call from Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) senior assistant commissioner Wan Mohammad Wan Drahman at his office on Tuesday (May 18).

According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) in a news report, Wan Mohammad then reported for duty as he will be attached with the State Integrity and Ombudsman Unit (Union).

Wan Mohammad, who previously served in the Inspection and Consultation Division of the MACC Headquarters, is replacing Zulhairy Zaidel who has been transferred to MACC Headquarters.

With the placement of senior MACC officers in Union, it will be able to help cultivate integrity, increase accountability, transparency and governance in the administration, including state statutory bodies.

Also present was Union assistant director Paul Ningkan.
