KUCHING: Incoming Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mohd Azman Ahmad Sapri held an Iftar ceremony with state police department heads and district police chiefs at his residence here last Saturday.
The event was held as an introductory greeting with the Sarawak Police Contingent top brass.
Before breaking fast, Azman had the opportunity to socialise and get to know the department heads and district police chiefs who were present.
There was a recitation of Surah Yassin and prayer for peace after the Isyak prayer to ask for blessings and to facilitate Azman in leading the Sarawak IPK.
Azman will assume the duties of Sarawak Police Commissioner (CP) at a ceremony to be held today (Apr 18).
Among those present were acting Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mancha Ata, Management chief SAC Gilberd Philip Layang, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief SAC Lukas Aket and Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department chief SAC Ing Fung.
