KUCHING: The Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) is cutting trees along Jalan Sultan Tengah in the area of Sg Lumut, Santubong here.
A total of 53 trees had been cut since June 8, and work is underway to remove the leftovers.
In a statement, DBKU informed that the work was carried out by Pemaju Daya Builders Sdn Bhd to enable road widening for the Perumahan Rakyat project in Sg Bedaun.
“This process has received the approval and consent of the Sarawak government,” DBKU said today.
