KUCHING: Two of the four flood evacuation centres in Sarawak closed at 2 pm today after the evacuees returned to their homes.
These centres are Dewan Sinaran of Kampung Sungai Lumut and Surau Ar Rahman, both in the Kuching District, according to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee secretariat.
It said these centres had accommodated 59 evacuees from 14 families.
It said the 74 evacuees from 18 families in the Lundu District were still at two relief centres, namely the Kampung Paon community hall and Sekolah Kebangsaan Sebat in Sematan. – Bernama
