KUCHING: Four university students could face the death penalty if convicted after they were arrested with 264.41 grammes of ganja and a small ganja plant in a house they were staying.
The four male students aged between 21 and 24 faced several charges including peddling, growing ganja and taking drugs. All four are from the same university.

They tested positive after the arrest on Monday. The drugs are estimated to be worth RM10,576.
Acting on information received, narcotics police made the arrest when the students were in the kitchen of an unnumbered house at Kampung Sg Cina near here.
Police found a plastic bottle filled with dry foliage suspected to be ganja weighing 33.69 g, a tin containing two compressed lumps of dried foliage weighing 76.49 g, a shoe box containing seven plastic bags of dry foliage believed to be ganja weighing 154.23 g, a digital weighing machine and a small ganja plant.
The four are currently being detained for seven days.
