KUCHING: Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar completed his second and final dose of the Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine at the Putrajaya District Health Centre.

The second dose was administered 21 days later after the first dose as recommended by the health authorities.

“Alhamdulillah, I experienced no side effects after receiving these two doses of the vaccine,” he said in a Facebook post yesterday (Mar 29).

He then said phase two of the government’s vaccination programme which involved the Pfizer and Sinovac vaccines, is scheduled from April to August for about 9.4 million senior citizens aged 60 and above and the high-risk groups.

“Therefore, for those who have yet to register for the vaccine, I urge you all to register through the various methods either on MySejahtera mobile application or manually,” he said.

The Santubong MP also stressed that it was important for all to agree in getting the Covid-19 vaccine so that Malaysia can achieve its target or establish herd immunity.
