KUCHING: A 36-year-old housewife claimed in her police report that her husband had beaten her and their 16-year-old daughter.
The woman alleged that at 8.30 pm on Saturday while they were in their house at Jalan Stephen Yong, her husband aged 43 had punched her.
He then also beat their daughter when she tried to stop him. Not satisfied with the beating, the man searched for a machete (parang) while the woman and her daughter ran out of the house in fear.
The woman and her daughter later went to Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.
