KUALA LUMPUR: Yoodo Gank has made Malaysian proud as they had claimed the Southeast Asia (SEA) Champions title in the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) SEA Finals 2020 Season One, last night.
Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican in his tweet, congratulated the Yoodo Gank for the outstanding achievement.
“Congratulations team Malaysia Yoodo Gank for officially claiming your spot as the SEA Champions for the PMPL SEA Finals 2020 Season One.
“For the first time ever, a Malaysian team has won a PUBGM tournament on the SEA level. Let this be a stepping stone for greater achievements!” he said.
Team Yoodo Gank is the second Malaysian team to qualify in World League Championship as they had won the first prize at SEA Level Championship, while, Team Secret qualified for World League Championship as they won first prize of PMPL MYSG Season Two.
Yoodo Gank was crowned as the best team among SEA team after accumulating 284 points in 15 rounds contested. They received prize money of RM128,000 ($30,000). – Bernama
