KUCHING: An ‘E-commerce through eSports’ workshop was held in conjunction with the Gaming4Humanity event at CityOne Megamall last Saturday.

The workshop was jointly organised by Kenyalang eSports Tournament, Training, and Trade (KES3T) and Koperasi Belia Inovatif Sarawak (Kobis) alongside Incredible Hearts and supported by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Industrial Terminal and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak (Mintred).

Mintred chief assistant secretary Awang Putrayusrie Awang Redzuan officiated at the workshop.

The workshop aimed to embed the values and knowledge of e-commerce in youth who engaged in gaming related activities and used the platform to generate a stable income.

The organisers aimed to ensure that the youth of Sarawak would benefit from the programme while simultaneously using its full potential as a platform to contribute to the development of the country, economy and youth innovations in the state.

Other activities held during the Gaming4Humanity event included Mobile Legend challenge, PUBG challenge, Dota 2 tournament, FIFA20 challenge, CSGO challenge, Fruit Ninja Virtual Reality and more.
