SIBU: Grassroots leaders of the Youth 1828 Wing of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) recently organised a Pre-Convention PBB Workshop in Kuching.
It brought together close to 50 young leaders from across the southern region of Sarawak to delve into the fundamental purposes and narratives of their political party.
In a press statement the Youth 1828 Wing said it hosted the workshop with a commitment to nurturing grassroots leadership and bolstering the understanding of the party’s ethos.
The workshop featured a series of sessions that addressed various facets of PBB’s goals, values, and future directions.
“The workshop served as an inspiring platform for youth empowerment within the political arena. It highlighted the determination of young leaders to grasp the essence of the party’s ideology and chart a path towards a brighter future for Sarawak.
“This event not only strengthened the party’s foundations but also set a positive precedent for the active engagement of the youth in the state’s political discourse,” the statement added.
