KANOWIT: A total of 539 senior citizens and high-risk individuals here received their Sinovac vaccine as part of the Covid-19 National Immunisation Programme Phase II which took place at the Kanowit District Office Hall on Friday (May 7) and Saturday (May 8).
Kanowit District Health Office said on the first day (May 7) of the programme, a total of 293 persons were inoculated and 246 received their jabs the next day (May 8).
Federal Deputy Health Minister II Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang, who is also Kanowit MP, and Machan assemblyman Allan Siden Gramong were present at the vaccination programme.
